MISSION

The mission of Research Institute on Social and Economic Policy (RISEP) is to conduct high quality, empirical research examining issues of concern to low and moderate income workers and their families in Southeast Florida and the state of Florida.

FOCUS

This site contains research reports on Florida's workers, their working conditions, low wage workers, working poverty, the effect of living wage laws and ordinances, and the like. It also contains data on Florida's work force, labor market statistics, wage levels, poverty, employment, shifts in jobs, quality of employment, immigration, race and gender statistics, etc. It aims to be a "one stop site" for Florida work and labor force statistics, and we encourage users to bookmark it for future use.

FOR COMMUNITY AND LABOR ORGANIZATIONS

Southeast Florida and Statewide: RISEP directly serves social justice organizations and communities.

ECONOMIC ANALYSIS AND RESEARCH

RISEP is the Florida affiliate of the Economic Policy Institute (EPI)'s Economic Analysis and Research Network (EARN) with the capacity to link with other like institutions around the country.
